A growing UK-based business is looking for experienced Finance Manager to support the delivery of core financial operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Reporting to a Head of Finance, you'll lead a team of 7-8 finance professionals, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while driving continuous improvement in processes and controls. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and enjoys mentoring a team while maintaining strong technical oversight. Key Responsibilities Manage and coach a team of 7-8 accountants responsible for core finance tasks. Oversee general ledger activities including balance sheet ownership, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and adherence to internal controls. Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure best practices are consistently applied. Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and process improvements. About You ACA, ACCA, CIMA - with 3-5 years experience in finance operations. Previous experience managing or mentoring junior staff. Solid technical grounding in financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management. Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset. Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving business environment.
