Resourcery Group are supporting a well-established not-for-profit organisation in Warrington to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation delivering vital care services, where finance plays a key role in supporting both operational performance and long-term sustainability.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and insight across multiple services. You’ll work closely with operational managers, helping them understand performance, manage budgets and make informed decisions.
Key responsibilities as a Management Accountant include:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts with clear variance analysis and commentary
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, including reforecasting
* Partnering with service managers to monitor financial performance and cost control
* Analysing payroll, staffing costs and operational spend
* Reconciling income streams and ensuring billing accuracy
* Supporting audit processes and maintaining strong financial controls
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting
About You
* Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
* Previous management accounting experience within care, charity or public sector
* Strong Excel and analytical skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders
* Proactive, organised and able to work as part of a wider team

This role will involve occasional travel across Warrington sites, so a driving licence is required.
