Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are on the lookout for a passionate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Natural Resources team. You’ll be working on our Thames Water framework, specifically managing a site at East Hyde, Bedfordshire.
Location & Hours
* Location: Work from home with travel to site in East Hyde, Bedfordshire
* Hours: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired!
Your Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our Natural Resources commercial team, supporting the Water Framework for Thames Water. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with the project delivery team to ensure contractual control and cost management across various projects.
* Gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to project delivery.
* Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts, from procurement to interim and final account agreements.
* Engaging in final account negotiations to secure the best possible outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You hold a relevant academic qualification in a construction-related degree.
* You possess a full driving license.
* You have prior experience in a commercial role for a contractor.
* You are familiar with a variety of contract forms.
