Overview
Group Head of Resourcing Partnerships role within Computacenter UK, responsible for leading, shaping and delivering the resourcing partner and agency strategy and service for Group Professional Services (GPS). The role focuses on maximizing value from partner and agency relationships in the UK, France and Germany, and developing an international partner network beyond core countries. You will lead a team that builds and maintains strategic and operational relationships with partners, negotiates and manages high-value contracts, and is commercially accountable for partners under GPS ownership. You will evolve the partnering strategy to drive profitable growth and collaborate with the Resource Management team and other stakeholders to maintain a cost-effective, transparent partner network and provide expert support in partner selection and usage.
What you’ll do
Partner Management Operations and Planning
* Shaping, evolving and delivering the GPS partnering strategy and offering to augment internal delivery capability, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective delivery for customers.
* Embed the use of the VMS tool to analyse and develop the partner ecosystem, respond to market demand, define partnering direction, and set strategy and vision for where partner capabilities deliver a competitive advantage.
* Collaborate with the Resource Management team to drive system and process improvements in supplying partner and agency-delivered services.
Commercial Management
* Design and set the direction for partner commercial planning that drives competitive advantage, develop frameworks, and lead negotiations on agreements and pricing strategies.
* Manage, monitor and analyse partner spend and performance to provide insight and support workforce planning.
Contractual Management
* Own and negotiate key strategic contractual renewals and set agency strategy across the Group.
* Define contractual standards with partners to support quality delivery, mitigate risks in service delivery and maintain ethical, ESG standards.
* Manage onboarding criteria and parameters and align with GPS and Group Legal standards.
Relationship Management
* Develop relationships with internal GPS practice teams, Country Units and senior leaders of key strategic partners; conduct regular service/business reviews to foster preference for Computacenter as a delivery partner.
* Leverage the team to provide expert advice to sales and service management on partner capabilities and offerings to optimize resourcing for customer needs.
* Align with GTS and GMS Partner Management functions to develop a single partner ecosystem and international partner network.
Team leadership and management
* Lead and manage Group team members, define roles, set targets, and manage performance.
* Define success criteria, allocate resources and capabilities to maximise performance.
* Manage the team's P&L to maximise return on investment and value to the business.
What you’ll need
* Partner/Supplier management on a global scale, ideally within the Professional Services / IT services industry
* Excellent relationship management skills
* Commerciality with strong negotiation and contract management skills & experience
* Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and partner ecosystems
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive global initiatives
* Excellent communication, business planning and analytical skills
* Proven track record of leading, developing and inspiring others
* Experience of embedding new processes and driving engagement at a strategic level
* Knowledge and experience of working with a Vendor Management System (e.g., SAP Fieldglass)
* Knowledge and experience of working with and negotiating with Master Service Providers (MSPs)
