Job Title: Building Surveyor
Site location: Plymouth
Responsible to: Senior Building Surveyor / Director
Purpose of the role: To support the delivery of professional building surveying, project management, and contract administration services across a varied property portfolio, ensuring successful project outcomes and strong client relationships.

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 £55,000 (dependent on experience)
Shifts: Monday to Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role:
Deliver professional building surveying services across a varied portfolio
Support contract administration and project delivery functions
Assist with project management responsibilities
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Undertake site visits, inspections, and reporting
Work across multiple property sectors on both professional and project-led instructions
Contribute to successful project execution from inception through to completion
Key Skills Required:
23+ years experience post relevant degree
Consultancy background (essential)
Exposure to contract administration and/or project management
Ideally APC qualified, recently chartered, or actively working towards RICS chartership
Strong communication and client-facing capability
Good organisational and technical surveying skills
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
Full UK driving licence preferred
