Purpose of the Role:
This role performs an important part of the Digital team, acting as a facilitator of IT Change across Ardonagh Specialty through:
1. Work within the Digital and Data wider team to deliver technical projects, adapting to scheduling changes in both an agile/waterfall methodology
2. Develop/maintain a Digital Roadmap for both functional/ non functional projects
3. Define technical solutions to ensure design aligns to the Ardonagh Specialty Architecture Strategy working with the Head of Technology
4. Analyse technical processes to ensure they’re delivered as expected
5. Participating in technical team meetings, supporting the agile refinement sessions, feeding into project plans and wider roadmap
6. Cultivating a great company culture within the Digital team and beyond, ensuring all colleagues can bring their best selves to work and perform at the highest levels.
7. Collaboration with business stakeholders, central functions, senior leadership, developers, infrastructure experts, technical specialists, and other members of the change team.
8. Championing and adhering to the Software Delivery Lifecycle and the Change Framework to ensure projects are delivered with adequate controls. Acting as a role model for great change delivery
9. Effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the delivery of projects, simplifying concepts and translating ideas between insurance practitioners and developers.
10. Planning, coordinating, and safeguarding delivery of projects through effective organisation, oversight and control.
11. Motivating business stakeholders to engage positively with change, supporting those affected by change to ensure the best delivery outcomes.
12. Maintaining constructive relationships with external vendors who support key parts of the Ardonagh Specialty digital estate.
13. Cultivating a great company culture within the Digital team and beyond, ensuring all colleagues can bring their best selves to work and perform at the highest levels.
14. Engaging with the tools, systems and processes that we use to deliver IT Change, ensuring quality of input meets required standards to maximise value from each.

Key Skills
16. Technical expertise in Digital technology and lead technical project teams within the wider D&D function
17. A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
18. Proven experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
19. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
20. Experience of working with an extensive and diverse stakeholder group including senior stakeholders and external stakeholders
21. Exceptional communication skills – both written and oral.
22. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation, providing coaching and support
23. Excellent active listening skills.
24. Must be a team player and able to work with and through others, across both Digital and Infrastructure
25. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
26. Experience with large-scale organisational change effort.
