<div><h3>Job Title</h3><p>Pastoral Officer</p><h3>Location</h3><p>Holbrook School for Autism, Portway (DE56 0TE) & Whitemoor (DE56 0DB) Sites</p><h3>Grade/Scale</h3><p>Derbyshire Support Pay Scale, Grade 9 points 16-19</p><h3>Contract</h3><p>37 hours per week</p><h3>Overview</h3><p>At Holbrook School for Autism we have an exciting new opportunity to join our pastoral team in order to support the safeguarding, attendance, wellbeing and pastoral care of our pupils by working closely with staff, families and external agencies. The postholder will help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Support safeguarding, attendance, wellbeing and pastoral care of pupils.</li><li>Work with 4‑19‑year‑olds with autism and learning disabilities and implement child protection procedures to ensure pupils are safe from harm.</li><li>Provide emotional and pastoral support to pupils, working with staff to develop strategies to support their individual needs.</li><li>Collaborate with teachers, support staff, external professionals and families.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Requirements</h3><p>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
