Care and Case Management Services Ltd (CCMS) is dedicated to delivering excellent support to clients and their families, placing their thoughts and expectations at the heart of everything we do. We offer distinct and specialised case management services for adults and children recovering from acquired or traumatic brain injury, spinal or catastrophic injuries and associated disabilities or conditions.
We are recruiting for a Female Support Worker to support a young lady with cerebral palsy and other complex needs living in her own home. The client is a wheelchair user and communicates via low tech and gestures; she is able to express her wishes and preferences to those who know her well. The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social and recreational activities, and empowering her to be as independent as possible.
What you'll be working
* Full time position available. Day and Night shifts.
* Location: Penistone
* Flexible support required 2-1 care 24/7. The package will include 24/7 care during holidays and weekends.
* Rates of pay: £14.88 per hour day shifts, £15.43 per hour waking night shifts
The client requires full moving and handling and all aspects of personal care.
We are seeking staff with excellent communication skills and a desire to provide individualized support. Previous care experience with young adults is preferred but not essential as full training will be given along with input from therapists.
Staff must be able to participate in a range of activities with the client, including hydrotherapy.
Driver with full UK License essential.
