Part Time Legal Cashier

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part Time Legal Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Duties
* Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions in the accounting software.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
* Manage all bank reconciliation work
* Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Help with adhoc day-to-day responsibilities, including ordering of office supplies
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role within a Legal environment.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
Free parking available, flexible start and finish times throughout the week. Looking for part time candidates either 3 or 4 days.
