Responsibilities
1. Lead Health & Safety, risk assessments, and safe test operations
2. Manage and develop a small team of engineers and technicians
3. Plan workloads, schedules, and resources
4. Act as key technical contact for customers and future programmes
5. Drive continuous improvement and performance metrics
6. Own departmental finances including invoicing and forecasting
7. Support ISO, ISO, and other accreditations
8. Oversee sled testing procedures, equipment utilisation, and data analysis
Experience
9. Degree-qualified, ideally in Automotive Engineering
10. 5+ years' experience in automotive or aerospace passive safety testing
11. Strong sled testing expertise (essential)
12. Proven people management and planning skills
13. Expert knowledge of European, Federal, and Global safety standards
14. Experience with data acquisition, high-speed cameras, and test instrumentation
15. Strong understanding of ATD injury criteria and data interpretation
Desirables
16. Static rig testing experience
17. FARO Arm or CMM experience
