This 15 month interim position offers exceptional opportunities for a strong Employee Relations partner to join an international business with a focus on growth and development.Reporting into and working closely with the HR Director, the Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for providing strong employee relations and HR support across the business.The ResponsibilitiesBuilding relationships and partnering with the UK Commercial & Shared Services Managers. Advising and coaching managers on all people processes, including performance review, goal setting, succession planning, engagement activities and performance managementSupport managers across the business to support in all employee relations matters effectively and compliantly, including restructuring, TUPE and complex grievance and disciplinary issuesManaging internal Ethics Point (Navex) system and leading on investigationsWorking with internal and external legal advisors, responsible for collating required information to defend litigation, negotiating in settlement discussions, and supporting at employment tribunalsCoaching / training managers on business initiatives (values, engagement action planning, front line leadership etc)HR administration including development and production of policies, letters and templates, updating information in SuccessFactors (HRIS), updating HR intranet page, and maintaining shared spreadsheets and inboxesMiscellaneous admin and governance support to HR Director as and when required.Skills, Education, Experience RequiredIn depth working knowledge and understanding of UK employment lawCIPD L7 qualified (desirable) or equiv demonstrated through work historyGood working knowledge and understanding of Irish employment law preferredExperience preparing for and attending employment tribunalsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work self-sufficientlyStrong IT skills including Adobe plus Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProject management experience preferredAnalytical and problem-solving skills required.Our PromiseStericycle is committed to attracting and retaining a diverse workforce, and to valuing unique perspectives and identities.
