Details: This role is to support a Man. The candidate should be a man*. Drivers licence required: Yes. Employment status: employed. Hours per week: 8 hours a week, 2-4 hours a day. Times and day flexible, can be discussed at interview. Hourly pay rate: £12.21.
About the role
I am seeking a compassionate and reliable personal assistant/buddy to support my 27-year-old son in accessing the community. He is on the autism spectrum, has Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and learning difficulties. He enjoys walks, swimming and engaging in art projects. Candidate qualities

* Reliable with good timekeeping
* Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
* Hygienic, tidy and well organised
* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
* Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
* Honest and cheerful
* Creative
* Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
* Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
* Patience and understanding of autism and PDA
* Experience of dealing with autism & PDA essential
* Ability to encourage and support his interests
Additional requirements
* Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
