The successfulStores Manager / Onsite Manager / Internal Sales Executivewill manage inbound customer enquiries, support walk-in customers within a workshop/trade counter environment, generate quotations, and build long-term relationships with key accounts. The role will involve advising customers on hydraulic components, sourcing products, negotiating pricing, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
The Stores Manager / Onsite Manager / Internal Sales Executive will have previous experience in internal sales, trade counter, or customer-facing roles within an engineering or industrial environment, ideally with exposure to hydraulics, fluid power, or mechanical components.
Package
* £33,000 – £38,000 (depending on experience)

Stores Manager / Onsite Manager / Internal Sales Executive Responsibilities
* Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring a high level of service.
* Support walk-in customers within a workshop/trade counter environment, advising on hydraulic components and solutions.
* Generate accurate quotations and process customer orders promptly.
* Manage and develop existing customer accounts, building strong, long-term relationships.
* Identify and source hydraulic components, liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing and availability.
* Provide technical support and product guidance on hydraulic parts and applications.
* Site-based near Colchester
Stores Manager / Onsite Manager / Internal Sales Executive Requirements
* Previous experience in internal sales, trade counter, or customer service within an engineering or industrial environment.
* An understanding of hydraulics, fluid power, or mechanical components is required.
* Experience with quotations, order processing, and account management is beneficial.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
* Commercial awareness, including pricing and margin management.
* Must be commutable to Braintree.
