Participant Engagement Specialist
Purpose of the Role:
* To work with the recruitment/study team to recruit suitable study participants for clinical trials.
* To phone screen and assess the suitability of study participants.
* To use marketing resources to promote/advertise interest in upcoming and active studies.
* To complete general administration duties related to clinical research and study recruitment.
KEY TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES/OUTPUTS
* Communicate clinical trial information effectively with potential subjects via social media platforms, text, email, and phone.
* Follow administration processes to ensure accurate recording of key information.
* Using the study phone screening checklist, determine the eligibility of potential participants for screening.
* Work with clinical staff to ensure medical queries related to study participation are answered.
* Accurate data entry and maintenance of the CTMS.
* Work under the guidance of the Participant Engagement Team Lead to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
* Any other duties as directed by the Participant Engagement Team Lead or Head of Participant Engagement.
* Assists Study Coordinators and Associate Study Coordinators in the recruitment of study subjects and manages subjects during screening and admission.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:Certification in a science, marketing or customer service-based discipline or working toward such a certification.
Experience:Preferred:Work or academic experience that shows requirement for excellent customer service.

* Good knowledge of science and medical terminology.

* Skilled in the use of a networked computer, and Microsoft Office applications and aptitude with general databases.
