Permanent Veterinary Clinical Director - Aberlour, Banffshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a mixed animal practice in Aberlour, Banffshire for a Veterinary Clinical Director to join and lead their team.
This is a mixed animal practice who are offering a full time position working Monday - Friday. There is a shared OOH rota.
The position offers flexible working patterns and hours to suit the candidate and a good work / life balance.
Relocation support can be provided with this role.

11. Consultations: 15 Minutes
12. Team: 9 Vets and 5 RVNs, support team and practice manager at each site.
13. Salary: Up to £85, pro rata per annum commensurate to experience
The role
14. Mixed Animal Vet role - large animal bias would be an advantage.
15. Full time role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday with a shared weekend and OOH rota.
16. During OOH there are always two Vets on call to provide support. Nurses triage phone calls.
17. The practice has a varied caseload with a 70% small animal, 15% farm animal and 15% equine.
18. The Clinical Director will be responsible for leasing the practice and ensuring that a high standard of care is given each day to all patients and clients.
19. The Clinical Director will be involved in running both the clinical and non clinical aspects of the practice.
20. Areas of specialism will be encouraged and supported so the CD will have a chance to continue to develop their skills.
21. The CD will be supported by area managers and Directors.

23. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
24. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

25. The CD will be able to mentor and coach less experienced team members.
26. They will have solid clinical skills.

About them:
30. Established Small, Farm and Equine Practice. Two branches - one large animal base and one small animal.
31. Both of the sites are equipped with facilities including Digital X-ray, haematology and imaging etc. On the Equine side that have an advanced digital x-ray and video endoscope.
32. They pride themselves in offering a progressive forward thinking approach with the health planning on the farm animal side and work closely with their farmers.
33. They have a large team of 9 Vets and 5 Nurses and a practice manager at each site.

Package
45. Salary: Up to £85, pro rata per annum commensurate to experience
46. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays increasing with service and birthday off
47. CPD: £1, allowance with time off to attend
