About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our vibrant schools in Stockton-on-Tees. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support to students with a range of special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality support to students with SEN.
* Assist in planning and delivering tailored educational activities.
* Support the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor and record student progress and development.
The successful candidate will:
* Proven experience as a HLTA with SEN expertise
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies and practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
* A compassionate and patient approach to working with students.
