What does our accounting and business advisory team do?
Our team ensures companies’ financial statements comply with government regulations and industry standards. We advise on business strategies, provide financial forecasts, and prepare management accounts that reflect the business performance.
We help clients understand what their management accounts reveal about their business and identify key areas for improvement. We also provide daily advice across various sectors, often being the first point of contact for financial or business-related questions.
What can you expect?
Our apprenticeship offers top-quality career development. You’ll gain early exposure to client work, learn about different industries, and build a strong foundation for your accountancy career. The programme lasts five years, beginning with the AAT qualification, followed by the ACA qualification, with variations depending on your location (Scotland or Ireland).
As you progress, your responsibilities will increase, and you’ll have opportunities to handle more complex issues and apply international accounting standards. We support your growth into a trusted adviser.
What we look for
We seek enthusiastic self-starters who are quick learners and adaptable. Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a team-oriented attitude are essential. Curiosity about how businesses operate is also valued.
If this describes you, you’ll enjoy being part of our team.
Flexible working
We promote a flexible working environment, supporting work-life balance and responsibilities outside of work, believing it fosters an inspiring and fulfilling workplace.
Our recruitment process
Successful candidates may be offered roles in different locations or departments if their first choice is unavailable. We consider only one application per cycle and do not accept multiple applications for different roles.
Entry requirements
We value passion, personality, and originality alongside academic results. You need:
* 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or equivalent, or
* 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level).
