Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join one of our welcoming partner secondary schools in Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students, foster a love of literature, and contribute to a dynamic English department.
About the Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging, creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
* Teach a broad curriculum including literature, language, writing skills, and critical analysis.
* Use effective assessment to track pupil progress and inform teaching.
* Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports learners of all abilities.
* Contribute to curriculum planning, department initiatives, and whole-school literacy strategies.
* Uphold high standards of behaviour, engagement, and academic achievement.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply).
* Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
* Can deliver inspiring lessons that motivate students and build confidence.
* Shows excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
* Is reflective, proactive, and eager to contribute to school improvement.
