About the role
We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to join our team at Earlswood Sewage Treatment Works. You do not need a background in the water industry. We welcome applications from candidates outside the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas.
This role is essential front‑line work that the business simply cannot operate without you. Each day is different; you will work in all weather conditions across multiple sites to ensure our sewage treatment works maintain supply to customers and protect the environment. PPM maintenance of equipment supports plant operation.
What you’ll be doing as the Process Technician (Waste)
* Carry out scheduled planned maintenance work on plant and equipment in compliance with company standards and procedures to improve plant resilience.
* Operate and clean plant and equipment to ensure on‑site operational and health and safety standards are maintained.
* Attend to reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure.
* Keep sites clean and tidy and undertake safety and security checks.
* Carry out daily site checks to ensure compliant operation.
Base Location
Earlswood – RH1 5HE
Working Pattern
38 Hours Monday‑Friday 07:30‑15:30 plus Standby rota payments & overtime opportunities can increase earning potential upon completion of essential company training.
Requirements
Due to the nature of this role you must hold a full UK drivers licence.

* Take ownership of responding quickly to faults, curiosity to fully understand the problem and identify the best solution to resolve it the first time.
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the team.
* Teamwork – We are one team and have the same end goals.
* Proactive – take the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site and communicate effectively.
* Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures.
* Knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards.
* Full UK driver's licence.
