Night veterinary surgeon

Durham Tees Valley Airport
Animal Trust Vets CIC
Veterinary surgeon
Posted: 3 October
Offer description

We're proud to bring affordable veterinary care to the Teesside area, with our Out-of-Hours (OOH) service ensuring pets receive the care they need whenever they need it.

We're now building a dedicated team of Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Vets to help us deliver exceptional service. Working alongside a qualified registered veterinary nurse, you will handle a diverse range of surgical and medical ECC cases while overseeing our inpatient service.

Our new hospital is set to feature 9 spacious consulting rooms, 3 fully equipped operating theatres, a diagnostic suite, digital X-ray, a dedicated dental suite, and an isolation unit. We also provide separate cat and dog wards for low-stress patient care, along with a central prep area to support efficient clinical workflow.

Animal Trust stands out from other veterinary services as a unique non-profit, Community Interest Company. Our primary focus isn't solely on maximising profits; instead, we are dedicated to delivering on our mission and ensuring enough profit to sustain our business in the long term.

Our vision is clear: no pet should go untreated or face euthanasia when there is a viable treatment option. We firmly believe that pet ownership should be accessible to all, acknowledging that individuals earning the Real Living Wage may encounter challenges in affording veterinary care when their pet falls ill.
