On behalf of our client, Royal London. We are looking for a Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager- Asset Management for an initial 6-month contract. It is based in London with a hybrid model. Purpose of the role: To lead statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and financial insight activities across RLAM and its associated entities, ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting, and strong financial controls. The role is responsible for overseeing statutory accounts, audit delivery, and ICARA reporting, while supporting business growth initiatives including M&A activity and new business set-up. It also focuses on driving continuous improvement, enhancing reporting quality, and strengthening operational efficiency across the finance function. What you'll do: Lead the production and delivery of statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, accounting policies, and Group timelines. Manage the external audit process end-to-end, acting as the key contact for auditors and ensuring timely audit clearance. Oversee legal entity financial reporting, including monthly P&L and balance sheet reviews, board reporting, and dividend proposals. Own all regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring FCA submissions, capital reporting, and liquidity reporting are accurate and delivered on time. Take a lead role in the ICARA process, including stress testing, scenario analysis, governance coordination, and Board-ready reporting. Provide leadership and development support to the finance team, creating a high-performance culture with clear objectives and succession planning. Partner on strategic initiatives including M&A activity, new business set-up, and finance support for growth and transformation projects. Drive continuous improvement across Finance by strengthening controls, improving risk management frameworks, automating manual processes, and enhancing reporting efficiency. The skills you'll need: Qualified accountant. Strong technical accounting experience (UK GAAP and IFRS) Experience working as an auditor in practice. Strong regulatory knowledge (FCA) gained through experience working within the asset management industry. ICARA experience and capital management experience.
