What you'll do
Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll provide accurate finance and admin support to a business with around £5m in turnover. You'll take ownership of key financial processes and shape them with your ideas.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Handling purchase and sales ledger transactions, including credit control
* Carrying out bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations, including journals for accruals, prepayments and depreciation
* Managing fixed assets
* Overseeing month-end and year-end close activities
* Completing quarterly VAT returns
* Covering weekly/monthly payroll processing when needed
* Monthly Management Accounts/Variance analysis
