Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Locum Pharmacist based in Bury. The Locum Pharmacist will be responsible for clinical checking medications accurately, providing expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals, reviewing prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. The role also includes managing pharmacy operations, maintaining inventory levels, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
* Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, dispensing medications, and regulatory compliance
* Strong verbal communication, patient advisory skills, and customer service
* Ability to manage inventory, ensure accurate record-keeping, and maintain stock levels
* Problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
* Registered and licensed Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Familiarity with using pharmacy management systems and related software
* Experience in community or retail pharmacy environments is advantageous
* Knowledge of NMS and any services accreditation
