Job Description
3. Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
4. Provide clear financial reporting and insight directly to the CEO
5. Prepare financial packs, analysis, and commentary for Board meetings
6. Produce budgets, forecasts, and cashflow projections to support strategic planning
7. Act as a finance business partner to operational and senior stakeholders, explaining financial performance in a clear, non-technical manner
8. Support manufacturing and operations teams with cost analysis, margin reporting, and performance tracking
9. Monitor and control costs and support efficiency
10. Lead and support month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
11. Assist with statutory reporting and financial compliance
12. Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting
13. Provide ad-hoc commercial analysis and decision support as required
The Successful Applicant
14. Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
15. Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) preferred; strong QBE candidates considered
16. Strong management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills
17. Demonstrable experience communicating financial information to non-finance professionals, including senior leadership
18. Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP or accounting systems
19. Confident, clear communicator with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
20. Highly organised, proactive, and able to work autonomously
