Tax Associate – London (Corporate & Cross‑Border Tax)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a growing and highly respected Tax practice in London. We are seeking a talented Tax Associate to work on a broad range of UK and international matters, advising an exceptional and diverse client base.
The Role
As a Tax Associate, you will advise on complex cross‑border transactions and high‑value advisory mandates spanning corporate, finance, investment funds, and general tax planning. You will play a key role in delivering strategic, commercial, and technically robust tax advice to clients—including multinational groups, investment funds, financial institutions, sovereign investors, joint ventures, partnerships, and high‑growth businesses.
Your day‑to‑day work will involve:
* Advising on UK and international tax aspects of corporate transactions, restructurings, and reorganisations
* Supporting on cross‑border investment structures and tax‑efficient holding/operating frameworks
* Providing practical, solutions‑focused tax advice to clients addressing issues early and clearly
* Engaging directly with clients on ongoing tax matters and building long‑term advisory relationships
* Working closely with colleagues across Corporate, Finance, Funds, Real Estate and Disputes teams
* Assisting with business development initiatives and contributing to thought leadership in the tax practice
About You
We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded tax lawyer who brings:
* Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales
* Strong academic credentials
* 4–8 years’ post‑qualification experience within a leading law firm or equivalent high‑calibre environment
* Excellent technical ability in UK corporate/tax law and familiarity with cross‑border matters
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts with clarity
* Confidence interacting with sophisticated clients and contributing to strategic advice
* A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for being part of a dynamic, expanding team
