We seek an experienced Accounts Receivables Accountant to join our Finance Team at the Ministry of Clean Office. You will manage sales ledgers for brands like Method & Ecover: allocating payments, chasing debts, investigating customer claims, and supporting the AR manager. Collaboration across stakeholders and maintaining operational excellence are key.
Reporting to the AR Manager and working with two other AR Accountants, you will handle various markets.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure invoice accuracy, resolve billing issues, allocate payments
* Resolve customer claims promptly, escalate issues when needed
* Prepare sales ledger reports and update AR Manager
* Maintain ledger and commentary at item level
* Drive approval for items and write-off initiatives
* Assist with bad debt provision calculations
* Manage trade spend invoices and coordinate stakeholder approvals
* Investigate debit notes, liaise with Sales & Supply Chain
* Support internal & external audits
* Identify and lead process improvements for efficiency
Your superpowers:
* Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably with large accounts
* Strong Excel and MS Office skills; SAP experience is a plus
* Fluency in German or Dutch is advantageous
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of EU VAT rules is beneficial
* Organized, resourceful, able to prioritize
* Curious with a positive, proactive attitude
* Honest, transparent, inclusive mindset
* Resilient, with a good sense of humor and work ethic
