Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Rochester, working within a private primary care clinic, GP surgery and home visiting, with flexibility to support the wider organisation as required. The Paramedic will attend patients in their homes and provide other functions such as phlebotomy, ECGs and wider patient analysis functions. Responsibilities include assessing injuries or illnesses, performing medical procedures, and maintaining medical equipment and drug stored. Additionally, the Paramedic will document patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and adhere to all safety and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in emergency medical procedures, such as CPR, first aid, and advanced life support techniques
• Ability to work in a customer focused environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure scenarios
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records and handling medical equipment
• Certified as a Paramedic in accordance with state and national standards
• Additional experience in primary and urgent care is desirable
• Reliable, professional, and committed to upholding the highest standards of patient care
• Flexibility to work effectively within different working environments
