Vision for Education is working on behalf of a welcoming and community-focused secondary school in Coniston, located in the heart of the beautiful Lake District, to recruit a passionate and dedicated History Teacher. This role is set to begin in September 2025, covering a staff resignation, and will initially be on a temporary basis, with the possibility of leading to a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic History Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking Humanities department. The ideal candidate will:
Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History.
Be capable of delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best, both academically and personally.
Play an active role in the wider school community and uphold high standards of behaviour and learning.
