A respected 11–18 secondary school in Derby is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of History to join its established Humanities faculty. History is a well-supported and popular subject within the school, with strong GCSE uptake and a curriculum designed to build chronological understanding, source evaluation skills and extended analytical writing. The Role You will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a carefully sequenced curriculum that moves from foundational knowledge in lower years to sophisticated thematic and depth studies at GCSE. Lessons prioritise historical enquiry, evidence analysis and structured essay writing.
