Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Accounts & Administrative Assistant to support our team with daily office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your administrative expertise within a professional environment, contributing to the smooth running of our organisation.

Responsibilities

* Process supplier invoices and resolve related queries promptly by liasing with suppliers
* Ensure invoices are received, approved and paid on time
* Support invoicing and bookkeeping activities through accurate data entry and record keeping
* Reconcile supplier statements
* Keeping administrative and financial records and filing systems up to date
* Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
* Organise and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of information
* Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed to ensure operational efficiency

Criteria

* Previous administrative or accounts experience within a busy office environment is desirable
* Confident IT skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Sage experience is preferable
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Experience in data entry and clerical work demonstrating reliability and precision
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
