Partnering with local authorities and associations, we support social housing across the UK by installing, upgrading, and repairing heating and electrical systems. We’re also on a mission to make the UK’s social housing sector greener and more energy efficient.
PH Jones is looking for an experienced Lead Payroll Administrator to join our team.
This is a permanent role with a hybrid working pattern, based both onsite at our Stockport office and working from home.

As a Lead Payroll Administrator, you will handle various payroll tasks daily, including:
* End-to-end payroll processing for weekly and monthly paid employees
* Producing earnings analysis for approval
* Managing starters, leavers, SSP/SSMP
* Processing attachment of earnings orders
* Handling P45/P46, P60, and BACS payments
* Managing employee benefits deductions
* Dealing with HMRC submissions and retrievals
* Updating and balancing PAYE reports for HMRC
* Responding to ad hoc payroll queries
The Person:
* Proven experience with payroll legislation, tax, and PAYE procedures
* Knowledge of Navision/Miracle Pay software is advantageous
* Strong analytical skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, Word
* Excellent team-working and communication skills
* Self-motivated with a problem-solving approach
* Ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
* High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
