The role is varied, combining call handling, technical support, and hands-on assistance, and requires flexibility, professionalism, and compassion when supporting individuals in urgent or non-urgent situations. Key Responsibilities Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from service users. Safely lift uninjured fallers using specialist equipment (full training provided). Install, programme, and maintain telecare equipment. Conduct home visits to carry out health observations and basic assessments. Provide professional call handling and triage of alarm activations. Support care homes and healthcare professionals with lifting assistance.
