Drama Teacher – York
Pay: £150 – £220 per day
Contract: Full-time, Temporary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in York. This is a full-time, temporary role with an immediate start, offering daily rates of £150 – £220 (depending on experience).
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and inspiring Drama lessons to students across Key Stages 3–4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
* Encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression through drama and performance.
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
* Support students’ academic progress and contribute to extracurricular drama activities, including school productions.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting.
* Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
* Passion for the arts and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
