Experience in Nursing Home Care is Essential
Skills required include proficiency with the PCS system, medication management, strong leadership, and an excellent understanding of dementia and complex care. Additional skills include clinical decision-making, care planning, syringe driver experience, catheterisation, blood tests, PEG feeding, stoma care, and a good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

As an advocate for our residents, you will be crucial in planning daily activities, creating tailored care plans, and ensuring individual needs and choices are met. Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Medication administration and care planning
2. Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents
3. Maintaining safeguarding principles
4. Taking responsibility as Nurse in charge during shifts
5. Team management and shift planning
6. Infection prevention and control
7. Liaising with GPs and multidisciplinary teams
8. Upholding clinical governance standards
About You
We seek compassionate, dedicated, and detail-oriented nurses eager to enhance residents’ quality of life. Experience is preferred but not mandatory; we support career growth through training and development.
* A UK-recognised nursing qualification
* A valid UK NMC PIN and registration as an RGN, RNLD, or RMN
* Ability to assist with physical tasks such as mobility support
Additional Skills:
* Leadership in clinical decision-making and care planning
* Syringe driver experience
* Catheterisation, blood tests, PEG feeding, stoma care
* Medication administration
* Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty
