Job Purpose:
Provide a first class generalist support service to the business across all areas of the colleague journey, with special focus on delivering good quality, timely second-line employee relations advice. Work with the rest of People Services to deliver SLAs and team KPIs, related to the service we provide to leaders and colleagues across the business.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Provide timely, professional and accurate second line advice to colleagues and leaders on all topics across the colleague journey, acting as escalation point for the People Assistants
2. Act as a subject matter expert for people processes and queries, providing a seamless service to colleagues and leaders. Support management/resolution of incoming queries and BAU activities as required
3. Act as a superuser on our people system myHUB (The Access Group product), ensuring it works effectively for the business, raising any issues as necessary and collaborating with key teams such as Payroll and IT to work towards future objectives for system functionality
4. Work closely with the People Services team to drive efficient ways of working whilst delivering first class service. Own, review and refine processes with efficiency and colleague experience in mind
5. Own SOx controls within People Services to ensure our compliance. Complete any SOx related audit activity to evidence compliance with these controls
6. Support the wider People team with ad-hoc activities and projects related to the delivery of the people plan as required, including implementing new initiatives
Key Skills:
7. Previous experience within a HR/People Advisor role and working knowledge of HR/people processes and procedures is essential.
8. Developed knowledge and experience of dealing with employee relations and relevant legislation is essential.
9. Experience of working with people/HR systems, ideally at a superuser level
10. Passionate about delivering a first-class service
11. Excellent organiser who plans to succeed, with excellent attention to detail
12. Good communicator/relationship builder across a variety of levels
