A reputable West Midlands law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial/Corporate Solicitor to take on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters. This is a standalone role suited to someone confident, commercially minded, and able to manage a high quality caseload independently while supported by dedicated administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
* Preparing shareholders’ agreements
* Managing business sale transactions (asset and share sales)
* Advising clients across a wide range of commercial matters
* Providing clear, pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice
* Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development as required
Candidate Requirements
* 5+ years PQE within commercial and/or corporate law
* Strong technical ability and confidence handling matters independently
* Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
* Commercial awareness and the ability to advise businesses of varying sizes
* Ability to work autonomously in a standalone role
* Strong communication and relationship building skills
