Overview
Are you a graduate seeking a career in psychology or counselling? We are looking for a Psychology Graduate to work as a Learning Support Assistant at a small specialist school in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. All the students have special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and communication needs, physical disabilities and social and emotional needs.
Responsibilities
* Work with a range of students on a one-to-one basis and in wider groups.
* Prepare learning materials, check on welfare, and help increase students' independent living skills.
* Support life skills through activities such as cooking, singing and art to ensure the school day is engaging and enjoyable.
* Identify risks and needs and help students meet their milestones.

This role provides essential experience to train as Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Youth Worker or Speech and Language Therapist. You will gain first-hand insight into development and neurodiversity within a specialist setting.

* Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am3 3:30pm
* Salary: £90–£100 per day

* Graduate in Psychology or related field; interest in psychology or counselling.
* Interest in gaining experience with mental health and additional needs.
* Ability to work with neurodiverse learners and in a specialist school setting.
