About the role
Our mission is to provide outstanding specialist education and care services for people who are deaf or have communication difficulties and learning disabilities. During this 18-month apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with LearnTech, combining classroom-based training, workplace assessment, and online learning, culminating in qualification as a Data Technician.
Key responsibilities
1. Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2. Use statistical tools and software to analyze data and identify trends.
3. Support the development and maintenance of databases and data systems.
4. Generate reports and create visualizations such as dashboards and graphs.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions.
6. Ensure data integrity and compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
7. Support data governance policies and stay updated on industry best practices.
8. Utilize AI advancements in data collection, management, and reporting.
9. Support the management of Individual Learner Records (ILR) data and Trust-wide Management Information Systems (MIS).
10. Contribute to safeguarding and mandatory training requirements.
Candidate profile
We seek a creative, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills, capable of creating solutions-based systems for data accessibility and accuracy. Flexibility and willingness to undertake various tasks are essential.

* Expected duration: 18 months
* Level: Level 3 (Advanced)
* Programme: Data Technician
* Working hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, 37 hours/week
* Full-time position with potential for time off in lieu or overtime for outside hours
Other information
This role involves working closely with multiple departments and requires a customer service focus. Training on safeguarding and data management will be provided, and the candidate must be willing to undertake mandatory training via Educare.
