Investment Banking Vice President M&A Advisory (Global Independent)
Industrials Sector. Based in London.
Our client, a leading global independent investment bank, is actively hiring an Vice President (VP level depending on experience) to join their growing Industrials (mergers and acquisitions/ M&A) team in London.
This Industrials team has built a strong reputation covering several subsectors including; Building Materials, Capital Goods & Industrial Technology, Construction & Housebuilding, Paper & Packaging, Aerospace & Defence and Transport, Logistics and Infrastructure Services, and has delivered a number of sector defining transactions in recent years.
The team mostly does sell-side M&A (including large cap work (ie £1B+) and is doing more work with PLCs. Understanding UK takeover code and having a wider knowledge of multiple products, Public to Private transaction experience etc, is advantageous.
Requirements for consideration
* 5-7 years experience working in a full service (ideally Bulge Bracket) investment bank or leading Independent platform in London. (While already covering Industrials is advantageous, our client is open to considering other sector backgrounds.)
* Fundamental understanding of financial valuation methodologies, and applications.
* Excellent Financial modelling and analytical abilities.
* Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams effectively, delivering high quality work on schedule.
* Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* High resilience, willingness to learn and enthusiasm.
* The team has an exceptionally strong track record in the market and the work involved will be predominately deal execution focused.
