What You’ll Be Doing
As the Engineering Manager for Instrumentation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Instrumentation Development Services within the BAE Submarines enterprise. Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing Workflow: Manage the overall workflow, financial health, and operational performance of our services.
* Building Relationships: Cultivate strong business relationships with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
* Project Management: Lead instrumentation projects, ensuring they meet customer and contractual obligations for cost, quality, and timeliness.
* Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of work packages, involving new products and complex upgrades, while utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
* Policy Implementation: Establish necessary policies and ensure effective delivery within your area of responsibility.
* Program Management: Manage and deliver engineering programs or projects that encompass major engineering systems and disciplines.
Your Skills and Experiences
We’re looking for candidates who possess:
* A degree in a STEM field.
* A broad knowledge of instrumentation system design, development, commissioning, and project life cycles.
* Experience in managing and leading large multi-discipline teams.
* Prior knowledge of radiation measurement systems is a plus.
