Stagecoach Portishead is currently recruiting for a new team of exciting and vibrant Performing Arts teachers for our Friday and Saturday school. The role begins in September 2025.
Classes run between pm Fridays and 10am-1pm Saturdays. Some occasion require you to stay on for extra rehearsals earlier/later than these times but this is negotiable.
Candidates must be energetic and passionate about theatre and enjoy working work children aged 4-18, helping them develop confidence through the Arts.
Within the role, there are extra opportunities to shape and develop the students by music directing large scale productions and shows in house as well as public performances. Events in the past include The Bristol Hippodrome and Her Majesty's in London's West End amongst many more.
We're looking for someone who has training in the arts at a degree level or equivalent and has some teaching experience. We expect our teachers to be prepared, organised and reliable.
As a member of the team, you'll be offered professional development workshops with our education team and working professionals from the industry to keep your teaching ideas fresh and current.
