The Grove Infant and Nursery School is an outstanding Infant school in Harpenden We share our large site with The Grove Juniors and we are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. We know that high quality support from adults makes all the difference in a school like ours where young children are beginning their learning journey. We are keen to recruit someone who shares our ethos and has some experience of working with children in KS1 or is keen to learn. Working as a team with the class teacher and other staff members, the role may also include working during part of lunchtimes, supporting the Midday Supervisory Team. All of our full time Teaching Assistants do this as part of their timetable. The Grove is a happy place where we work hard to build important key skills in Core subject areas but also recognise that this is only part of educational provision for children 7 and under: We seek to provide a truely broad and exciting curriculum that engages the children and allows them to enjoy a wide range of learning opportunities.
