An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Pricing Development in our Animal Health Pricing team. This strategic leadership role entails overseeing a team of six direct reports, with considerable scope and influence within the organization. You will be responsible to manage the development and deployment of tariff pricing engines and creation of impact analysis tools in order to support achieving the underwriting performance metrics detailed in the Corporate Plan. Location
This position is structured as a hybrid role, based at our Guildford office, with an expectation to work onsite 50% of the time.

As a Valued Member Of The Team You Will
* Lead the prioritisation of price model development in Radar Live and coordinate oversight of test procedures and results so that changes in AH pricing engines are delivered within given timeframe and according to the requirements.
* Support coordinating and implementing accurate impact analyses, simulations and tariff optimisations to achieve business targets.
* Lead the creation, updates and further improvements of impact analysis tools and conversion models.
* Manage the performance and development of the pricing team members, ensuring that appropriate resources, objectives and personal development plans are in place.
* Contribute to strategic and tactical business developments and projects by providing thought leadership and undertaking analysis as required to help deliver business objectives.
* Champion innovation by proposing new solutions and improving our pricing engines and impact analysis tools.
* Lead the continuous improvement of Pricing MI and Analysis requirement and process.
Essential Skills
* Significant experience combining insurance pricing and data science in P&C insurance.
* Supervisory / management / team leadership experience.
* Proven ability to deliver projects with close collaboration with IT, underwriting, portfolio management, and marketing teams.
* Strong statistical modelling, feature engineering, data visualisation, and data interpretation skills when working with large volumes of complex data.
* Able to demonstrate a high level of numerical, analytical and logical reasoning skills.
* Expertise in using data analytics tools for example Python, SAS, SQL and WTW tools (Radar and Emblem).
* Experience of using Radar Live.
