With 25 years of expertise in land promotion, planning, and development, they work collaboratively with local authorities, landowners, and end users to bring forward high-quality schemes that meet the evolving needs of local communities.The RoleThey are seeking a commercially-minded, fully qualified accountant to join their team in a newly created, full-time permanent role, located in Alsager, Cheshire.Ideally, you'll bring experience from the property development sector, although this is not essential. What is essential is strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the finance function and contribute to the strategic direction of a growing, dynamic business.What you'll be doing:Full ownership of financial management and reporting, working closely with the Managing DirectorProvide commercial insight and support strategic decision-makingDevelop financial forecasts and long-term business plansReview investment levels and shareholder return expectationsManage company cash flow and produce weekly forecasts and budgetsSource project funding when requiredProduce monthly management accounts and reportsMaintain the asset registerPrepare year-end accounts and liaise with external auditorsManage NatWest Bankline transactionsLead and support the professional development of an Assistant AccountantSkills and QualificationsFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Minimum 5 years' of relevant experience in a similar role within an SME environmentProven ability to manage all aspects of the finance functionHighly organised, with the ability to meet deadlines and work autonomouslyStrong budgeting and forecasting capabilitiesExcellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholdersFluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Experience with Sage Accounting Software preferredBenefits37.5-hour week with flexible working hours between 8:00am – 6:00pmEarly finish on Fridays25 days holiday + bank holidaysPension contributions and incentive packageFree on-site parking at their officeLong service awards including additional holidays.Pet-friendly officeTo ApplyIf you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for this reputable company, please do not hesitate to apply.TPBN1_UKTJ
