Job summary The post holder will undertake cleaning tasks and frequencies within the accommodation that you are assigned to within the time allocated. The post holder will ensure that the environment where they are assigned meets at all times the required standard and bring to the attention of their supervisor any situations that prevent the effective cleaning. You will be working as part of a small team providing a clean and safe environment for staff to live in the staff accommodation areas. Main duties of the job To maintain a clean environment in the areas allocated. To develop good working relationships with colleagues and staff occupying the accommodation. Duties of cleaning of staff accommodation: 1. Mopping. 2. Vacuum cleaning. 3. Cleaning of kitchen area including appliances and cupboards 4. Curtain change and hanging. 5. Cleaning of toilets, bathrooms, shower areas etc. 6. Stairwell cleaning. 7. High level cleaning with use of step ladders.
