Job Description
* Process and verify supplier invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ensure timely preparation and execution of payments.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
* Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
* Respond to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
* Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
As the successful Accounts Payable Clerk you should have:
* Previous experience in accounts payable within an accounting and finance environment.
* Proficiency in accounting software, especially Microsoft Excel.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial processes.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
