Manage wastewater non-infrastructure projects with budgets up to £2 million, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety. Focus on projects that improve wastewater services through innovative, non-infrastructure solutions such as process improvements, digital systems, and operational enhancements. This role offers the opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of smaller yet impactful projects from initiation to completion, reducing reliance on external consultants and enhancing operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:
Lead and manage wastewater non-infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory standards. Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery, emphasizing digital upgrades, process optimization, and service improvements. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders for clear communication and collaboration. Monitor budgets and ensure projects meet financial targets and KPIs. Balance quality, cost, and timeline constraints for sustainable outcomes. About You
Proven experience in delivering capital and non-infrastructure projects, preferably in wastewater or utilities sectors. Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management and familiarity with NEC contracts or similar frameworks. Financially savvy, capable of managing project budgets effectively. Skilled in risk management, stakeholder engagement, and complex project requirements. Results-oriented with excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and business case development skills. Resilient, adaptable, and capable of leading teams under pressure with strong leadership qualities. Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment. Package
