Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor –\n\nHours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm + Overtime\n\nSalary: Competitive + Flexible Benefits\n\nRole Summary\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor to join the team at a prestiguos site. The successful candidate will ensure that reactive maintenance and remedial works are effectively planned and executed across mechanical services, HVAC systems, and associated infrastructure.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Ensure compliance with engineering standards and Health and Safety regulations.\n\n * Maintain accurate documentation and records for mechanical/HVAC systems.\n\n * Diagnose faults and optimize BMS and control systems for mechanical plant and equipment.\n\n * Supervise and manage the engineering team, including performance reviews, safety briefings, absence reporting, and training.\n\n * Oversee high-standard repairs to HVAC plant and associated systems.\n\n * Manage installation and repairs of pipework systems efficiently to minimize downtime.\n\n * Conduct pump repairs, including mechanical seal replacements and fault resolution.\n\n * Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to team members.\n\n * Respond promptly to Helpdesk requests related to heating, ventilation, pumps, valves, and pipework.\n\n * Collaborate with other trades as needed.\n\n * Utilize CAFM systems, Smartsheets, and subcontractor portals to track work output.\n\n * Engage with the supply chain to ensure effective planning and execution of quoted/project works.\n\n * Support operational delivery on event days.\n\nCandidate Profile\n\nWe’re seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor with a strong background in building services and a commitment to excellent customer service.\n\nEssential Qualifications & Experience:\n\n * NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Plumbing, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)\n\n * 10+ years of experience in a similar role\n\n * Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and general building services\n\n * Familiarity with electrical principles, safe isolation, and fault finding\n\n * Experience with Trend BMS systems\n\nDesirable:\n\n * City & Guilds 2079 F Gas Regulations\n\n * Authorised Person – Mechanical\n\nBenefits Package\n\n * Competitive salary + overtime opportunities\n\n * 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\n * Personal wellbeing and volunteer days\n\n * Pension scheme with up to 8% employer contribution\n\n * Private medical insurance\n\n * 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (including counselling and legal advice)\n\n * Flexible benefits: dental insurance, gym memberships, travel insurance, tax-free bikes\n\n * Personal development programme
