Summary: We are seeking a Temporary Head Chef to join our vibrant children's nursery in Nottingham. This role is crucial in providing nutritious and delicious meals that cater to the dietary needs of young children. Enhanced DBS Required Monday to Friday, Daytime Hours Responsibilities: Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals for children, taking into account dietary restrictions and allergies. Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training new team members. Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and order ingredients as needed. Create weekly menus that are appealing and nutritious. Engage with children during meal times to promote healthy eating habits. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality and catering industry.
