Victim Support is recruiting for a Community Engagement and Training Officer. This vital role will support the specialist domestic abuse and stalking team in Bedfordshire, leading on:
* Raising awareness of local services through social media
* Attending events
* Delivering training to partners
* Leading client engagement activities
Engagement in Bedfordshire is key for Victim Support, and this role is instrumental in sharing our work with clients, commissioners, partners, and staff.

Job Details
* Location: 101 Park Street, Luton LU1 3HG, Bedfordshire
* Type: Part-time, 25 hours/week
* Schedule: Monday - Friday, with some flexibility
* Salary: £17,886.80 per annum (FTE £26,830.20)
* Contract: Permanent
* DBS required: Yes

About the role
You will be resilient, confident, and able to engage others. You should be a team player, willing to learn, and adaptable to new legislation. Good communication, IT skills, and the ability to develop and deliver training, presentations, and reports are essential. Knowledge of domestic abuse and stalking is advantageous.
You must be able to prioritize and manage conflicting demands in an organized manner. A commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity, confidentiality, and safe working practices in line with legislation is required.
